Sketches inspired by the cruise I was on last week.
Female empowerment fail that I went through tonight, to my own amusement.
Thank you for submitting Monkeyrag to AIFF! I was very worried that living next door to the fortress of solitude would make it difficult to attend a screening, but I'm glad I can see the finished version at last!
Yay! I’m happy that “Monkey Rag” was accepted, and I’m happy that you’re going to be able to attend the screening! :) I wish I could visit Alaska, but even if I could the acceptance letter said “Seriously, its ok if you don’t come. It is really, really cold.”
Seeing that your an animator, I'd like to know on what you think about video games doing homages on classic cartoons. Like Rayman Origin's for example, the game is literally made in hand drawn and it has those typical unique squash and stretch aspects as well as the animation style being something creatively nice and really good to look at. And The Legend Of Zelda Wind Waker had the character designs being modeled like how Gennedy Tartokovsky draws his characters to look like.
I’m not much of a gamer, but mostly because I’m very bad at playing video games. I die all the time- its very annoying. Honestly, I *wish* I were a gamer, because there is so much cool stuff out there. For instance, Epic Mickey looked awesome. And I’ve watched the walk-through of Dragon’s Lair a couple times, I think its some of Don Bluth’s best work. Sometimes I will attempt to play games that look really appealing or are based on franchises I love. For instance, the husband just ordered the Young Justice game, and I intend to button-mash the heck out of it. I’m not familiar with the games you mentioned, but they also sound great!
